How to wire my own power button to the ubox?

Principle

Ubox dual comes with a momentary power button, and Ubox single with a latching button. Sometimes, maybe you need to replace it with your own power button to suit your requirements.

Ubox dual support both momentary and latching button.

Ubox single can only support latching button at present.

The wiring principle is as follows:

The LED drive level is 3.3V with an internal 220 ohm resistor.

Suggestion

To make your own button wiring, maybe below steps can helps you:

  1. Figure out your own button's pins of the switch and LEDs, a multi meter may helps you.
  2. Connect the switch and the cathode (negative) of the LED in parallel, then connect to the GND pin of Ubox socket.
  3. Connect the other pin of switch to the SW pin of Ubox socket.
  4. Connect the anode (positive) of the LED in to their respective pins of Ubox socket.
  5. To check if the on/off function is working.
  6. To check if the LED is working.
